PLATE II · CORTEX / MODEL COUNCIL · SF-AUT-002

One mission. Different minds.

One model can make a confident mistake. A Council gives consequential work an independent challenger, bounded execution, and verification against acceptance criteria. It is not a chatbot vote.

CURRENT REFERENCE ROSTER

Models can collaborate directly. Only the principal authorizes consequential action.

Models collaborate directly. Models challenge independently. Human authority remains fixed.

CYAN — model communication / challengeAMBER — human authority / approval

Vendor and model marks identify reference roster assignments only. No endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership is implied.

ADVERSARIAL COLLABORATION LOOP

Disagreement is a control surface.

Fresh context reduces anchoring. Deterministic checks test what models cannot settle, and human or delegated authority decides what counts as accepted.

  1. 01

    Mission + Context

What is the work, and who may authorize it?

Define constraints, privacy, authority, evidence, and acceptance criteria before a model proposes a move.

    MISSION RECORD
  2. 02

    Strategy

What should happen, and what might be wrong?

Propose a plan, expose assumptions, and name the evidence that would change it.

    PLAN + ASSUMPTIONS
  3. 03

    Independent Challenge

    Where does the proposal break?

Attack the plan from fresh context when practical. Dissent is retained, not averaged away.

    FRESH-SESSION CHALLENGE
  4. 04

    Verification

Did the result meet the contract?

Check deterministic criteria, evidence, provenance, and known limits. Model agreement is not a test result.

    CHECKS + EVIDENCE
  5. 05

    Authority Gate

May this plan proceed, change, or stop?

Human or explicitly delegated authority accepts, rejects, reroutes, or escalates the verified plan before execution.

The one step a model can never take.

    AUTHORITY DECISION
  6. 06

    Execution

What authorized work can be performed?

Perform only bounded work. Preserve commands, artifacts, and safe receipts without converting access into authority.

    BOUNDED ACTION
Roles are stable; model assignments are replaceable. Agreement helps. It does not prove the work succeeded.

The first record is conspicuously synthetic. It demonstrates the public format without claiming that named providers ran the case.
